This site is a set of static pages. It serves the same HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JSON files to every visitor. It has no accounts, no forms, and no server-side storage of visitor data.
The one script. Surviving pages load /js/near-me.js. On the Near me page, js/near-me.js reads data/restaurants.json (a static file on this site) and, if you grant location access, uses your browser's geolocation API to sort places by distance. That distance is computed in your browser; nothing is sent to a server. Your location is not stored by this site.
There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party embeds.
